fact –  1)  disembodied myth.  2) Facts are not really like boulders that have been detached and shaped and deposited exclusively by the play of forces of non-human nature. They are like flaked and chipped flints, hewn stones, bricks or briquettes. Human action has had a hand in making them what they are, and they would not be what they are if this action had not taken place. … Facts are, in truth, exactly what is meant by the Latin word facta, from which the English word is derived. They are ‘things that have been made’…. – Arnold J. Toynbee  3)  facts are a very handy but weak brew of reality.  They consign somethings to be real and others to be not. . . however, the psyche is not so limited . . it embraces all possibilities and creates myths as the ocean creates spray – Seth 4) facts are the solidification of unexamined beliefs – the Plaedians

failure – 1) . . .   is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again.- Henry Ford.  2) Success may generate courage and promote confidence, but wisdom comes only from the experiences of adjustment to the results of one’s failures. Men who prefer optimistic illusions to reality can never become wise. Only those who face facts and adjust them to ideals can achieve wisdom. Wisdom embraces both the fact and the ideal and therefore saves its devotees from both of those barren extremes of philosophy–the man whose idealism excludes facts and the materialist who is devoid of spiritual outlook. Those timid souls who can only keep up the struggle of life by the aid of continuous false illusions of success are doomed to suffer failure and experience defeat as they ultimately awaken from the dream world of their own imaginations. And it is in this business of facing failure and adjusting to defeat that the far-reaching vision of religion exerts its supreme influence. Failure is simply an educational episode–a cultural experiment in the acquirement of wisdom–in the experience of the God-seeking man who has embarked on the eternal adventure of the exploration of a universe. To such men defeat is but a new tool for the achievement of higher levels of universe reality. The career of a God-seeking man may prove to be a great success in the light of eternity, even though the whole temporal-life enterprise may appear as an overwhelming failure, provided each life failure yielded the culture of wisdom and spirit achievement. Do not make the mistake of confusing knowledge, culture, and wisdom. They are related in life, but they represent vastly differing spirit values; wisdom ever dominates knowledge and always glorifies culture. – Urantia book pg. 1780 3) felix culpa – is a Latin phrase that literally translated means a “blessed fault” or “fortunate fall”, meaning all failure has the potential to lead to a more auspicious rebirth. 4) There are no failures – just experiences and your reactions to them. – Tom Krause 4) I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work. ~ Thomas Alva Edison

fairy tales – ‘are like water-flowers, they lie so lightly on the surface, but their roots go deep into a dark and ancient past. They are, in fact, remenant of that Orphic art whose function it was to instruct the generations in the inner meanings of things (of how to live and how to die) . . . and they were intended for the ear, not the eye, of the listener . . . listening that is attention, and inner watching and remembering. Again, like flowers, the same Fairy-tales spring up in different countries, always with the lineaments of first cousins and always alongside the parables of truth that make the religions of man. . . and there is the oldest of Fairy-tale admonishements, ‘awake sleeper, awake’ – P.L. Travers 2) Fairy tales used to be called household tales, and so you learned how to behave in the world.  These many ways the same all over the world.  Like africa and europe ~~ three brothers, and one uses his brawn and doesn’t succeed, and then the other one uses its brains, his clevernessz and doesn;’t succeed, and then the third brother, the simple one, uses his heart, and succeeds . .

faith – The process of expanding the mind beyond its own momentary limitations can only be a conscious and deliberate effort toward the goal of transcending dualistic thinking.  Yet the effort is not a labor of the will, but an opening process that first considers new alternatives which eventually can become real.  When you human beings only experience yourselves as cut-off, powerless egos, and when you consequently try to put all your available energy and power into this ego, you must fail.  But when you can allow that you may indeed be an expression of an as yet unmanifest, deeper, broader, wiser and more loving divine self, then your divine self will be sufficiently freed to manifest.  Hence you can bridge the gap from ignorance and alienation to an open state of mind that questions, waits, considers, and probes for an actual experience of the ultimate truth.  Such an experience is called faith.  – Pathwork 193  2)  Faith is an act of trust, and entrusting yourself to the goodness of the universe does indeed focus your attention on its fruition in your life.  – Pleadians 3) Faith and self-surrender belong to the same category as love. Love, faith, self-surrender all are connected and interdependent. They are all expressions of the heart. Faith is to believe something which you feel. That something is not visible or tangible; it is an experience. Just like love, faith to is an experience. . . personal and subjective. When one is endowed with faith, one knows thru one’s own experience, and nothing needs to be proven. If there is clear-cut external proof, then it is not faith but fact. When facts are available, there is no need for faith. For example, the sun exists. The earth, plants, trees, rivers and mountains exist. Their existence can be demonstrated. Faith operates when reason fails. Faith and love are beyond reason. The heart feels and experiences faith and love. – Amma (AC V) 4) Faith is the result of the direct perception of the truth, heard and understood by the inner sense, taught by the Holy Ghost, and productive of theosophists and servants of the divine Spirit. – Jacob Boehme 5) “Faith sustains us on our journey. I would even say that it is faith that sustains the impulse of life. It is precisely when people don’t have genuinely illuminated faith that they constantly fall and are attracted by the impulse of death. When moved by a false faith (by beliefs) the being will sometimes feel unsupported, because all beliefs sooner or later crumble – for belief is based on borrowed knowledge. Armed with borrowed knowledge and intellectual understanding you may even arrive at the edge of the abyss, but without true faith you won’t jump. This is a test of faith: if you really believe in humanity’s ability to evolve, if you truly believe in God and know that powerful hands will catch you when you jump into the abyss, then you jump. Experience and detachment from beliefs illuminate genuine faith. You must have the determination not to feed doubt because one seed of doubt is enough to hold you at the edge of the abyss for a very long time. Doubt agitates peoples’ minds and they start to rationalize. This then leads them to curl up on the edge of the abyss until they forget where they are. They will only remember when the symptoms of paralysis grow to such a degree that they can no longer be denied. Anxiety, depression, anguish, feelings of helplessness – these symptoms indicate that you are on the edge of the abyss but don’t jump due to lack of faith.” – Sri Prem Baba

fake news ~  How can we tell the difference between the fake news our personality tells us to keep us safe and controlled and the reality that Spirit offers us for growth and adventure? When Donald Trump spoke of fake news we thought he had it wrong – and yet now we actually see it in operation in our world. It is also in our lives.  The fake news usually contains either a fear, a condition or a criticism of self or others. It will tell us that we are vulnerable. It will tell us what we want to hear that proves we have value – or proves another is less capable in some way than us. It tells us that others do not understand us because they are not as special or sensitive as we are. It justifies behaviour and builds our ego.  When we are walking with our intuition and Spirit, we are shown the significance of our actions, thoughts and feelings. We are given the compliment of being treated as an adult, not a child to be continually comforted. We are faced with reality and shown how easy it is to create the future we wish to live if we are willing to let go of our fear and control. IT also asks us to take responsibility for our lives and not look to others to keep us safe. It asks us to LIVE, not exist.  Which do you operate by?  ~ John the Beloved

the ‘Fall’ – unself-conscious god-sparks “fall” into matter so that inner qualities may be brought out and unevolved substance be refined. ~ The Quest: From Simple “Fool” to Grail Servant By I. M. Oderberg

family – where every human being knows they matter.  Rafael Diez

family of light — The Family of Light is the White Brotherhood, but these newer words have a much broader and more inclusive scope. Also, at this time the Family of Light is gathering on this planet from locations all over the galaxy. It includes members of the Family from such exotic locations as the Pleiades, Arcturus, Sirius and other star systems. All these members of the Family of Light are principally here on the inner dimensions and not physically present in tangible spaceships. These members of the intergalactic Family of Light are ancient and wise teachers who work in cooperation with the planetary council to promote the spiritual evolution of this planet. They have asked to be allowed to work through various channels to dispense teachings to the masses. – Djwal-Khul

fana – “(“to pass away,” or “to cease to exist”), the complete denial of self and the realization of God that is one of the steps taken by the Muslim (mystic) toward the achievement of union with God. Fana may be attained by constant meditation and by contemplation on the attributes of God, coupled with the denunciation of human attributes. When the initiate succeeds in purifying himself entirely of the earthly world and loses himself in the love of God, it is said that he has “annihilated” his individual will and “passed away” from his own existence to live only in God and with God – http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/201463/fana 2) rebirthing is to go through a process of annihilation. So the energy of the Universe, you absorb the energy of the Universe and somehow or other it gets resorbed in the void as you hold your breath. That’s what the Sufi’s call fana. That is, in alchemy one calls that solve followed by coagule. So dissolve before you coagulate, before you restructure yourself. And so as you hold your breath you are in a very neutral kind of condition where you really don’t know who you are and you don’t know anything. One goes through a total collapse, in fact, a breakdown. And then that breakdown is reversed as you exhale into a breakthrough. And at that time the energy and light that is potentially, virtually, there at subliminal levels of your being break through and this time they radiate from your heart center. So your solar plexus is receptive and your heart center is active. 3) Things must be extinguished into order to re-emege at a higher level.

fascism ~ ‘the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself.  That, in its essence, is fascism — ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power.’ ~  ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt  ~ April 29, 1938

fate – ‘That which we do not bring to consciousness appears in our lives as fate.’ –Jung

fatidic –  Etymology: Latin fatidicus, from fatum fate + dicere to say. Of or relating to prophecy.

faul -’ empires rise and faul. ‘  To be faulty and therefore subject to disintegration.

Faustian Bargain – 1) deal with the devil, 2) ‘. . another person, amazed and infused by a Teacher plant or its chemical counterpart, and blossomed briefly into the sylvapolitan world, is left with choices on how to integrate the experience.  S/he may replicate the Faustian ethos of modernity and seek the power of the experience without working on purifying oneself to handle it responsibly.  This strategy is best facilitated by drugs, those vitality imposters that – on the surface – appear to operate beyond the reciprocity principle of the Gaian dharma.  However, the actuality of drugs is that one ends up chasing a high of ever diminishing returns, which to an extent normalizes one in the cosmopolitan culture of addictions.  In contrast, s/he may choose to accept the challenge of applying oneself to the teachings of that brief bloom into the sylvapolitan world.  This requires one to engage in responsible and free flowing dialogue with the natural world, and to embark on a path of self-discipline at the service of self-understanding.’ – mb

Fear – 1)  ‘He who (shaman) faces fears, can then metabolize and digest fears – Jorge Gonzales  2)  ‘As you grow more relaxed, you become less afraid.  As you become less afraid you grow more relaxed.’ – Professor Cheng Man-ch’ing.  3)  To experience fear in itself is not devastating:  once experienced, the fear instantly becomes a tunnel through which you travel, not letting go of the feeling of fear until it carries you to a deeper level of reality.  The fear is a denial of other feelings. When the original feeling is being accepted and experienced, the knot dissolves.  Thus, it is never the feeling itself that is unbearable.  However, your attitude to it may make it so.  Fear of your feelings makes you cut them off.  Thus you cut yourself off from life.  Your spiritual center cannot evolve and manifest and unify with your ego self unless you learn to fully embrace all your feelings, allow yourself to be carried by them, and learn to take responsibility for them.  –www3.sympatico.ca/roddy.duchesne/lecture_204.htm 3)  ‘modern’ fear is ‘a misuse of energy because it is not in its natural vibration.  It is not the exaggeration that all of you hold to yourselves.  You are afraid of doing something that is harmless.  That is a travesty.  . .  that is what we (the Pleiadians) have learned from you, how perverted the laws of the cosmos have been – distorted and delivered to you in such ways that you begin to fear opportunities. . .  we do not understand why you fear opportunities that come to you as impulses that wish to move you and you call it fear. . .  don’t fear opportunity people, there are plenty of other things to (legitimately) fear. The well crafted, mind-boggling ‘business of fear’. – the Pleiadians  5) fear, according to their legends, is the greatest enemy of the shaman. And once you let go of fear, you can begin to truly receive those lessons of immortality; until then it’s just a thought – A. Villoldo 6) when the danger has gone, an animal no longer holds on to its fear, while people will often remain in this state for many years.” – don Ramon 7) ‘even a dictator, who may seem like a srrong minded person, is a weakling because he rules, tortures, and kills people out of fear for his own security. Fear is the greatest weakness.’ – Ammachi 8) ‘In order to become fearless, we need to experience fear. when we find fear preventing our accepting our life, fear is crippling, and we end up saying no to the world, no to everything. . . . then we try to live someone else’s life (exended ego dissolution), or our own life despite ourself. . . courage comes from accepting our life fully, to saying ‘yes ‘ to life’ – Dzigar Kongtrul 9) Place the fearful mind in the cradle of Maitrie (loving kindness) – if you don’t know the nature of fear, then you will never know fearlessness. To the degree that we know ourselves completely, to that degree we can relax and open outward.  We don’t need to protect ourselves from having to think something or feel something, or have something to happen to us.  If we know our thoughts, emotions, etc, they cease to scare us and they can come and go like clouds in the sky, or storms in the sky. 10) When the cloud is to be transformed into rain it doesn’t panic like us – Thich Nhat Hanh 11) The chick doesn’t know its alive until its world falls apart around it . . 12) a black hole, as in, ‘I was feeling like a vomit was on its way, and inclined as I have been to be easily lured by the prospect of such a release, I pushed it a bit.  There is a fine art to coaxing an elusive vomit.  It won’t be coerced, bullied, or forced.  And woe be ye that try!  I pushed it because last time I drank, at the same dose, I felt a similar urge and had a fine vomit.  This time I thought a repeat was going to happen.  But no:  by setting the vomitting mechanism in motion but being unable to follow thru with it, I found myself in an energetic impasse.  I couldn’t go forward and I couldn’t go back as my whole psychophysical being was cocked for release.  But no release.  The message filtered down the corridors of my awareness.  No release.  I was stuck and the dammed energy was turbulating.  The psychic dimension of this was the rapidly escalating realization that I’ve fucked up, but am not sure to what extent and what the consequences could be.  This set up a cascading feedback of increasingly negative realizations.  These sent out shock waves of fear and panic which spread like wildfire thru all my energy bodies until I was in a full-on crisis.  I was becoming extremely high and thought – as I have in similar situations in the past – I have to save myself, and how do I do it?  Always thru breath.  I give up what shreds of panic-striken identity are left and become my breath and breath myself back to some semblance of stability.  So I did, and learned much from the experience – as always.   One interesting note here is that it seems that in my exponentiating fear state, I turned into an energetic black hole (the dynamic of fear is contraction) and sucked in much of the energy of the tryps around me.  Two of the women that night didn’t feel the effects of the brew at all, while for hours I was pushed to my limits to stay on top of it all.’ – mb 13) a slow, dense state of vibration – David Icke 14) “Fear works like an alarm system which goes off when you feel you are in danger. It is very common for you to feel you are in danger when you are faced with unknown situations, particularly when they don’t look very inviting. There are some internal worlds which make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up; dark valleys with no sign of beauty or safety. I call these regions the ‘valley of the shadow of death’. Each one of us has their own ‘valley’, protected by powerful guardians: fear, pride (shame) and obstinacy. These guardians are able to block the flow of life and paralyze you in exactly those areas where you would have had more strength and power. They are working to prevent you from having access to contents that have been repressed, which are aspects about you that you do not allow yourself to accept and bring into consciousness.”
Sri Prem Baba 15) The veil (of evil tendencies) can only be removed when we stop fearing evil. And we only stop fearing evil when we understand it. We fear it because we are not familiar with it. Thus, our minds invent stories that make us believe that a seven-headed beast exists. But in reality, the beast isn’t that ugly. Sometimes, we are even able to see the beauty in the beast. However, as long as we deny that it exists, we will be terrorized by it. The remedy to cure fear is self-knowledge. Fear is only a symptom of ignorance.” 16) the unlying meaning of the world fear is ‘fare’ as in ‘thoroughfare’, meaning the point is to go thru it. . – Michael Meade  17)  Fear, is a friend, knowing on your door saying, hey there is something here you missed about yourself that you need to know so that you can integrate it into your consciousness. and be more of who you really are. .it is bringing your attention to something   fear is just an energy. .   welcome that info about yourself.  when you flow the energy through beliefs and definitions that are in alignment with your true self, with our passion, that creates joy. love, passion.   when you run that same energy thru belief systems and definitions that are out of alignment with your true self you feel that energy as fear. . .  its just physics]. . .   fear is often a product of filtering your energy thruy negative belief systems, and because belief systems are deigned to perpetuate themselves, and they can use fear to prevent you from letting them go, and they will often amplify the fear in an effort to protect themselves, meaning the closer you get to letting them go, the more fear arises. .    ~ Bahsar

Fear pimps – ‘the terrible, explosive suffering that fear pimps invariably forecast when times are tight and faces are grim.’ – Dan Furst

fecaphobes – We’re now a nation of “fecaphobes,” obsessed with toilet humor but unaware and uninterested in what happens to our actual crap. We don’t want to think about it; we don’t want to deal with it. We want to flush the toilet and forget. – Catherine Pierce

feeling –  is the key to the functional wisdom of the body.  Feeling unlocks contractions of the reactive body life, and permits a free communication between attention and action. – Da  2) Our feelings, then, are our own inner plants, our own inner flowers. They grow in accordance with our perception of the nature of all life. – The Yoga of Herbs 3) Feelings can be made tangible by working with them thru body sensation . . . to then develop a ‘skill at feeling’ . . to then greet feeling with the qualities of mindfulness and equanimity – Shinzen Young

feeling tone –   a form of communication.  ‘As I was sitting with this plant, focusing on its feeling tone.’  Stephen Bruhner, One Spirit Many Peoples. pg 67.

felix culpa – is a Latin phrase that literally translated means a “blessed fault” or “fortunate fall”. As a religious term it refers to Adam and Eve’s fall and the loss of the Garden of Eden, known theologically as the source of original sin. The phrase is sung annually in the Exsultet of the Easter Vigil: “O felix culpa quae talem et tantum meruit habere redemptorem,” “O happy fault that merited such and so great a Redeemer.” The medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas cited this line when he explained how the principle that “God allows evils to happen in order to bring a greater good therefrom” underlies the causal relationship between original sin and the Divine Redeemer’s Incarnation. – Wikipedia

Fellowship of the Realms ~ ‘One aspect of the Fairy Congress is that it has become a Fellowship of the Realms.  Many years ago, we noticed that the Fairy Congress had some of the attributes of Tolkien’s Fellowship of the Ring, which was a team of hobbits elves, dwarves and humans united by a desire to serve the world of good. The Fellowship of the Realms which we have built through the Fairy & Human Relations Congress includes, humans, fairies, Sidhe, sasquatches, dragons, animals and star-beings.  It is a large coalition and our goal is planetary regeneration and healing for all the realms. With the recent Covid-19 and the worldwide lockdown, it feels even more like we are in a struggle with today’s version of Mordor.  Our Fellowship of the Realms is on a quest to aid the forces of love and healing.  We have work to do. Our alliance is needed now more than ever.’  ~ http://www.fairycongress.com

female (ideal) – a lioness who devours the scientists who poke and prod her.  – susan griffin

feralize –  ‘we can see the predominance of long-established habits in the way domesticated animals tend to revert to the wild type of their species when they escape from human influence.  Feral cats, e.g., start behaving like wild cats after only a short time in the wild.  Many feral animals revert not only in behavior but in bodily form.  Feral pigs, e.g. tend to become more bristly and tend to develop their tusks, and the stripes of young wild pigs reappear in their young.   A Charles Darwin commented.  ‘In this case as in many others, we can only say that any change in the habits of life apparently favors a tendency, inherent or latent in the species, to return to their primitive state.’  Sheldrake, Rebirth of Nature – pg. 138.

Fertility circuit – ‘Only these (Amazonian medicine sages) know the great law of the energy circuit of the biosphere, and the mechanism of the ‘echo’ by which all creation continually transmits the message of its creator.’ – G. Reichell-Dolmatoff

Festival~ The word festival is a rough translation of the Sanskrit word “Utsav.” “Ut” means removal and “sav” is grief or worldly sorrows. The main reason for celebration is to remove worldly sorrows by remembering our true nature. Festivity does not mean indulgence in worldly pleasures. Sensual indulgence is contrary to the real intention. Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya

fiction – ‘not creating something false, but creating new truths out of bits of old ones.  Just as we create new music by endlessly reshuffling the same old chords and scales.  – joe jackson

Field of Now – The essence of all intelligence. The mind is a tiny aspect of the vast intelligence of this field of Now. – E. Tolle

fields and frequencies – an overarching vibratory paradigm . . .  that includes the power and compassion of evolved consciousness.  – Woodhouse, M.  ‘Paradigm Wars’, pg. 369)

filtering – Everything we touch, feel, see, taste and sense is filtered not only through the physical instrument of our body but also through our prior experiences in the world (i.e., our conditioning). – Bansi

fire apples – a mythical term for vitality. 2/14/95  dream:  where I am on some big field where apples are strewn bout, and I and others, as anthropologists it seems, go about throwing these apples at each other.  These apples are in varying states of being on fire.  They are therefore ‘fire apples’ and thus make a formidable missile.  In the beginning of the dream, I am throwing or ‘firing’ them with abandon.  Near the end of the dream, I seem to lose vitality, and seem unable to muster the strength to throw them with any force.  Seems I have lost my vitality, maybe through simple aging, maybe through a depleting lifestyle.

firmness –  a way to transmute disharmony into more perfected states

first matter – ‘ . . . alchemy is based on the idea that the uiverse is a unity. The alchemists found a princple of uity and order in a substance called First Matter, which remains unchanged behind all diversity. First Matter is not matter in ny normal sense of the term, but the possibility of matter.’ – Richard Cavendish

fitual – 1)  sacred aerobics.  2)  epileptic seizure understood as a holy psycho-electric storm across the body.

flayed god – ‘’The death and rebirth of vegetation through cycle of the seasons is expressed in such mythological figures as Xipe Totec, the flayed god whose outer cloak of human skin represents the dried husk of the old plant through which new growth emerges’.

focus ~ “People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully”. ~ Steve Jobs

Flowering ~ Think about it this way: to someone who had never witnessed or heard about the phenomenon of “boiling,” the idea that at a certain precise temperature water should suddenly begin to bubble and turn into a gas would also sound impossible! Or this way: to someone who had never seen or heard about “flowers,” the idea that at a certain particular moment a simple green stem would suddenly start to bulge and then explode with dazzling colors would also sound impossible! But boiling and blooming are not impossible supernatural interventions! They– and countless processes like them– happen all the time in the natural world, and are nothing more than examples of the universal phenomenon of “emergence” in complex systems (i.e., “tipping points,” “phase changes,” “critical masses,” etc.). – David Ulansey 2) emergence properties, such as the biosphere ‘flowering’ out of the physiosphere, the noosphere (sentient life), flowering out of the biosphere.

flowers – Flowers, with their radiant colors, delicacy, and intricacy of form, are expressions of the geometries of higher frequencies exposed and made transparent by the sexual power of creation. – mb  2) love offerings from the earth 3) Things must be extinguished into order to re-emege at a higher level.  Before flowering, there is a transformation of the leaves where a flowering is to occur towards contraction and tapering.  In the lower part of the plant, more contricting, focusing energies – centripetal;  in the upper part more radiating, expansive energies, centrifigual (the flower the most expressive of this).  The floral impulse brings about the transformation/metamorphosis of the leaves. The flower in a plant is a leap in transformation. “the idea of the flower cannot be inferred from looking at the greenplarts of a plant;  its appears as a surprise, a miracle, endowed with quite new characteristics.  – anthroposophy

flow~ This divine dance of inner direction, this level of intuitive response, is humankinds natural way of being. .~ 3rd Millennium

flow of grace –

fluid Intelligence – In exploring personal and global transformation, it is important to talk about the concept of fluid intelligence in relation to the ability to grow and expand our awareness. Fluid intelligence has little to do with IQ or “book” intelligence. It is rather the ability to step outside of our beliefs and consider information which does not fit into our previously accepted view of reality. Our deepest beliefs and conceptions about life and the world are to some degree conditioned by our childhood experiences, our education, the mass media, and various other external influences. An individual’s level of fluid intelligence can be determined based on the degree to which he or she is able to let go of previously held conceptions on encountering reliable information or experiences which show these conceptions to be mistaken or overly simplistic. At the other end of the spectrum from fluid intelligence is static intelligence. If an individual is rarely willing to reconsider or challenge their established beliefs, they are said to have a high degree of static intelligence. They aren’t much interested in thinking outside of the box. –http://www.wanttoknow.info/fluidintelligence

food desert – ‘Today, many low-income people live in what are called “food deserts”. A food desert has a lack of high-quality food. Food sources are often convenience stores and gas stations. The supermarkets there have limited choice, poor-quality food and high prices. Food deserts are lo-cated in inner-city areas and in numerous small towns and rural areas around the country. No wonder that most low-income people don’t eat healthy food.’ – Michael Pilarski

food love – Mix Love in Your Food ~~ I always remember my guru, Sri Karunamayi, talking about her saintly mother and how she used to enjoy cooking food for people. Amma would say that “When Ammamma cooked, she mixed love in the food as she stirred the pot, and this made her food very pure.” According to yogis, the energy of food is heavily influenced by the consciousness of the one who cooks it. If the cook is very kind and loving and maintains a morally pure lifestyle, her food will be pure and sattwic, and will provide spiritual upliftment to those who eat it. On the other hand, if a cook is always angry, hateful, or lives a very negative lifestyle, her food will become tainted with her negative energy, and those who eat it will be dragged down somewhat by that negative energy. For this reason, yogis should take care to eat food that is cooked by positive, loving people in a spiritually pure atmosphere. There are lots of things one can do to maintain a pure atmosphere, from avoiding arguments in the kitchen to chanting mantras over one’s food . . . – Essential Principles of a Yogic Diet, by Eleathea (Ekta)

foregrounding –  A horizontal version of the term ‘highlighting’. as in ‘In foregrounding Afro-Asian linkages in the realms of politics, economics, and culture, we map an alternative global circuit to the well-heeled transnational flows which structure the way in which we imagine the millennial world-system, while at the same time initiating a recovery of a variety of internationalist and third-world positions for our critical work.’.

forgiveness – is not an action but a state of being, not fighting against, not running away, is presence. – juniper tree 2) “The ego cannot forgive because forgiveness is beyond it. At some point a light will shine on forgiveness. However, this moment only comes when you are mature enough. It is true that you need to forgive, but you cannot force this, because it is not with the mind or the intellect that you forgive. Instead, you are taken over by understanding and compassion. You are filled with sacred wisdom. Then you simply accept and are free of the past. This is a purely spiritual occurrence and is the result of the process of cure, the fruit of the tree of awareness. But you can only harvest the fruit from the tree when it is ripe. You cannot manufacture the fruit, but you can prepare the ground, plant the seed, take care of the new shoots so they can grow … that is what we are doing. Don’t worry about time, just give in to the process and do your best. When you least expect it, the tree will bear fruit.” – Prem Baba

Form – ‘order and organization are the physical structures that create a framework for form.  In short, they define the walls.  But we refer to the dynamic of life vitality when we refer to form because one of the elements of form is action, and it is life vitality that initiates and creates action.   – nature (M. fractal – 1)   mathematical concept characterizing objects that show similar details on various scales resembling the whole (self-similarity).  Fractal geometry describes the geometrical rhythm left by chaotic systems;  also cyclic rhythms of energy states.  Fractals and chaos are not linear phenomena.  Linear mathematics predicts nature, puts order onto nature.  Fractals grow as nature grows, via vitalistic ingressive patternings. – 2)  The word ‘fractal’ was coined less than twenty years ago by one of history’s most creative mathematicians, Benoit Mandelbrot, whose seminal work, The Fractal Geometry of Nature, first introduced and explained concepts underlying this new vision. Although prior mathematical thinkers like Cantor, Hausdorff, Julia, Koch, Peano, Poincare, Richardson, Sierpinski, Weierstrass and others had attained isolated insights of fractal understanding, such ideas were largely ignored until Mandelbrot’s genius forged them at a single blow into a gorgeously coherent and fruitful discipline.  Mandelbrot derived the term ‘fractal’ from the Latin verb frangere, meaning to break or fragment. Basically, a fractal is any pattern that reveals greater similarity as it is enlarged. Thus, fractals graphically portray the notion of ‘worlds within worlds’ which has obsessed Western culture from its tenth-century beginnings. Traditional Euclidean patterns appear simpler as they are magnified; as you home in on one area, the shape looks more and more like a straight line. In the language of calculus such curves are differentiable. The trajectory of an artillery shell is a classic example. But fractals, like dendritic branches of lightning or bumps of broccoli, are not differentiable: the closer you come, the more detail you see. Infinity is implicit and invisible in the computations of calculus but explicit and graphically manifest in fractals.  Whether generated by computers or natural processes, all fractals are spun from what scientists call a ‘positive feedback loop.’ Something–data or matter–goes in one ‘end,’ undergoes a given, often very slight, modification and comes out the other. Fractals are produced when the output is fed back into the system as input again and again. Fractals show us that the simplest engines of change often produce exquisitely elaborate patterns. Such systems are at work all around us, from the stock market to the stars. And to the fractal artist, Mandelbrot’s insights echo Kandinsky’s assertion that ‘the process of creation is the same in art and nature.’  –  Alan Beck

Fractal biology – ‘This new multi-creatured cell up at the top of the slide is a biological view of globalization — humanity repeating what the ancient bacteria did two billion years ago. I call this “fractal biology” because it is the same pattern at a new level. We are in the process of creating a global-level cell out of individual humans coming together in community within the planetary host cell we have been colonizing. It also represents our shifting from the competitive stage of an immature species to its mature, cooperative stage.’ – E. Sahourtis

freedom – “freedom is actually a bigger game than power. power is about what you can control. freedom is about what you can unleash.”– Harriet Rubin 2) Ay, in the grove of the temple and in the shadow of the citadel I have seen the freest among you wear their freedom as a yoke and a handcuff. And my heart bled within me; for you can only be free when even the desire of seeking freedom becomes a harness to you, and when you cease to speak of freedom as a goal and a fulfilment.~
Kahlil Gibran 3) True freedom is living as if you had completely chosen whatever you feel or experience in this moment. This inner alignment with the Now is the end of suffering. – E. Tolle 4) As we gain more flexibility in our thinking and emotional lives, reducing projections and attachments, we become more available to synchronicity, surprise and wonder – we become, internally, more free. Perhaps freedom begins with the courage to actually live your values to the fullest, and trust that the universe will provide for you, when you do so. – Daniel Pinchbeck. 5) ) “Freedom is acquired by conquest, not by gift. It must be pursued constantly and responsibly. Freedom is not an ideal located outside of man; nor is it an idea which becomes myth. It is rather the indispensable condition for the quest for human completion”. ~ Paulo Freire (neo-Marxist) 6) ‘Freedom, however, is not the last word. Freedom is only part of the story and half of the truth. Freedom is but the negative aspect of the whole phenomenon whose positive aspect is responsibleness. In fact, freedom is in danger of degenerating into mere arbitrariness unless it is lived in terms of responsibleness. That is why I recommend that the Statue of Liberty on the East Coast be supplemented by a Statue of Responsibility on the West Coast’ – Victor Frankel

free trade – Free trade is shorthand for a number of economic policies that expand the rights of multinational corporations and investors to operate in more locations, under fewer regulations, with less commitment to any specific location. Advocates contend that these companies and individuals, freed of burdensome government regulations, will amass great wealth and become engines of economic growth. Their wealth, in turn, will filter down through the economy, enriching even the very poorest members. One common image offered to depict the benefits of free trade is of a rising tide of wealth lifting all boats in its wake. – Antonia Juhasz

free will –  a two-edged sword.  2)   How much is pre-destined and how much is free will? It is not one or the other; it is BOTH!Before anything at all there was only Source, empty endless awareness without form. . so source wanted to know itself in form, so awareness moved to become consciousness.   Consciousness created energy, energy then allowed for an infinite amount of versions of a universe to form, and within every universe were created with different laws and mechanics which allowed different versions of the universe to exist..   All of this is created instantaneously at a higher levels, and creates infinite epochs of history with endless files and details and records.  This has already happened from sources perspective.  All of those infinite variations, from sources perspective, already exist, have already happened.   Now u as creation, conscious and becoming more consciously  aware of yourself in the process, are moving between different threads of time and space on a tapestry that already exists.   You have free will and you are pre-destined because every potential timeline that you could switch into and energize for yourself already exists. . ~ Dante’s Pleiadians

Frequency – As shown by the research of Alfred Tomatis, every frequency is a nutrient. Therefore, using the full frequency range of sounds affects your entire system at every level.

frequency envelopes – A core principle of holistic science is the idea that our physical body is merely one of a series of bodies which exist, laid one on top of the other, as a series of ‘frequency envelopes’.

frequency signatures – You are not born into a world without contributing  to its design, and you are continuously affecting and interacting with the nonphysical structure of your current civilization thru a process of cellular telepathy.  You are also telepathically interacting with other structures of reality that are interspersed thru-out time.  Your current civilization, like all realities, is composed of structured energy that is located on a frequency band, like a radio station broadcasting its programs from a distinct address.  Frequency signatures define and outline the purpose and maintain the continuity of all versions of reality.   Many of these realities you have been trained, encouraged – and genetically disposed – to ignore. – The Plaeidians

fugue –  1.Music. A polyphonic composition in which themes or a theme stated successively by a number of voices in imitation are developed contrapuntally.  the weaving of 3 or 4 music lines together in a piece and still retaining music coherent.  Bach specialized in . .     2.Psychiatry. A pathological amnesiac condition during which one is apparently conscious of one’s actions but has no recollection of them after returning to a normal state. This condition, usually resulting from severe mental stress, may persist for as long as several months.   1: a dreamlike state of altered consciousness that may last for hours or days 2: a musical form consisting of a theme repeated a fifth above or a fourth below its first statement. ‘All parts of the scheme are eternally chasing each other, like the parts of a fugue.’ –Jer. Taylor.  ‘My soul says it likes to learn by fugues of ideas’ – William Mitchell

functionalism — an explanatory model that conflates effect with cause.  mb

fundamentalism – 1) is an insidiously seductive story that gives anomie an outlet.2) “When the archives of the emotional body are overloaded with pain, resentment, hurt and their ramifications this generates rigidity in ways of thinking and mental conditioning. This limits our relationship with the world, which means our actions are the result of erroneous, distorted conceptions with regards to reality. All these denied and suppressed feelings, as well as mental conditioning, are like layers covering the being. We also call this the illusory nature. – Sri Prem Baba

fundamentalist materialist – There are many other kinds of fundamentalists, and some of them have gotten away with practicing their fundamentalism in a stealth mode. Among the most successful are those who believe in what Robert Anton Wilson calls fundamentalist materialism. That’s the faith-based dogma that swears physical matter is the only reality and that nothing exists unless it can be detected by our five senses or by technologies that humans have made. There is no inherent meaning or purpose to the universe, the fundamentalist materialists proclaim. There is no divine intelligence. The universe is a dumb accidental machine that grinds on endlessly out of blind necessity. I see spread out before me in every direction a staggeringly sublime miracle lovingly crafted by a supernal consciousness that oversees the evolution of 500 billion galaxies, yet is also available as an intimate companion and daily advisor to every one of us. But to the fundamentalist materialists, my perceptions are dead wrong and utterly idiotic. – Rob Brezny

fundamental tone –  Law of the Fundamental Tone states that a fundamental tone rules over all tones in relationship to it.  It thereby sets the resonances in other octaves.  -the Hathor Material

future – (Bohm) then launches on the scientific community a view of the universe which does not contain our familiar notions of past/present/future time, but instead an implicate and explicate order of reality — an ‘inny/outty’ notion where the future is inside us working outward instead of some vague distant goal we are headed toward. – Dan Moonhawk Alford  2)  the future is not a predetermined certainty but rather a multi-dimensional set of probabilities and possibilities. ~ Hathors

fused discourses – . . . also ‘fused discourses‘ with Buddhist traditions in the Himalayas when shamanism must co-exist with Lamism as a matrix. – Homberg 1992

fusion – ‘We live in a world of polarity: day and night, man and woman, positive and negative. Light and darkness need each other. They are a balance. Just now the dark side is very strong, and very clear about what they want. They have their vision and their priorities clearly held, and also their hierarchy. They are working in many ways so that we will be unable to connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012.  On the light side everyone thinks they are the most important, that their own understandings, or their group’s understandings, are the key. There’s a diversity of cultures and opinions, so there is competition, diffusion, and no single focus.’   As Mr. Barrios sees it, the dark side works to block fusion through denial and materialism. It also works to destroy those who are working with the light to get the Earth to a higher level. They like the energy of the old, declining Fourth World, the materialism. They do not want it to change. They do not want fusion. They want to stay at this level, and are afraid of the next level.   The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed or overpowered. It’s too strong and clear for that, and that is the wrong strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with simplicity and open-heartedness. This is what leads to fusion, a key concept for the World of the Fifth Sun. Mr. Barrios said the emerging era of the Fifth Sun will call attention to a much-overlooked element. Whereas the four traditional elements of earth, air, fire and water have dominated various epochs in the past, there will be a fifth element to reckon with in the time of the Fifth Sun: ether.  ‘Within the context of ether there can be a fusion of the polarities,’ Mr. Barrios said. ‘No more darkness or light in the people, but an uplifted fusion. But right now the realm of darkness is not interested in this. They are organized to block it. They seek to unbalance the Earth and its environment so we will be unready for the alignment in 2012. We need to work together for peace, and balance with the other side. We need to take care of the Earth that feeds and shelters us.  We need to put our entire mind and heart into pursuing unity and fusion now, to confront the other side and preserve life.’  http://www.chiron-communications.com/communique%207-10.html
